Who Am I and How Can I Help?

A smiling woman with long dark hair and earrings, wearing a black and beige patterned top, standing against a plain white background.

Hello I’m Amy, an MBACP Registered Integrative Psychotherapist.

Alongside this I am an Incoming Practitioner Psychologist, Trainee EMDR Therapist, University Lecturer and Private Research Supervisor.

With over a decade of experience working with Mental Health and Wellbeing, I’m curious, empathetic, and non-judgmental.

I specialise as an “Integrative” Psychotherapist. This means I tailor sessions by combining five different types of therapy to meet your individual needs.

Therapy with me is trauma-informed, I understand that attending sessions can be challenging. Together we can explore ways to make therapy work for you.

I am trained to work with all individuals. As a privately practicing therapist for over two years I have supported clients experiencing Low Self-esteem, Trauma, Relationship Issues, Men’s Mental Health Issues, Eating Disorders, Phobias, Anxiety and Low Mood to name a few.

I have a strong interest in Neuropsychology and varied experience in Neuropsychological services. Some of the conditions I have worked with include Autism, ADHD, Acquired Brain Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and various Dementias.

    Ending Therapy

From the start of therapy, we focus on the end goal: helping you gain the confidence and tools to step away from therapy. As we work towards ending therapy, we'll reflect on your journey and ensure we have achieved your therapy goals. Whilst therapy may end, you're always welcome to return! If you have been a client of mine you are welcome to request an individual session as and when required.
